About This Tour:
A favourite for local and international guests to visit for sightings of the Big 5. Mongena Game Lodge covers a total of 600 hectares of indigenous African bushveld and savannah grassland and is situated in the Dinokeng Game Reserve, with approximately 21 000 hectares for guests to explore on an African safari.
All 24 chalets are positioned amidst rolling lawns and indigenous landscaping in close proximity to the restaurant, pool and bar area.
The tame Zebra's, Nyala's and Springbucks residing in the main camp are delighting all guests with their presence and have become a favourite trademark of Mongena.

Day 1
Johannesburg - Dinokeng Game Reserve
On entering the Dinokeng Game Reserve which is only a 90-minute drive from Johannesburg we make our way to Mongena Game Lodge. The lodge consists of twin or family units, a bar, lounge, swimming pool and main dining area. We arrive in time for a light lunch before your afternoon game drive or boat cruise.

Day 2
Dinokeng Game Reserve
Everything starts early at the lodge with your morning game drive departing at a time to be advised by your guide and returning you for breakfast. Enjoy the day relaxing at the lodge before departing once again for your sunset night drive before returning for dinner.

Day 3
Dinokeng Game Reserve - Johannesburg
This morning you have the opportunity of going out on another early morning game drive return to the lodge for breakfast and get ready to depart back to Johannesburg arriving by 14h00pm either back at your hotel or OR Tambo Airport.
