Day 1: Arrival & Southern Kruger Exploration
Johannesburg to Kruger Park
You will be collected from Johannesburg or Pretoria and transferred via a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle toward the park’s southern region.
Transfer to an open safari vehicle near the gate. Your first guided drive begins immediately as you look for wildlife while traveling to your first southern rest camp.

During the summer months (approximately October to March), full-day game drives may be replaced with morning and afternoon drives. Midday temperatures in Kruger National Park can exceed 45°C (113°F), while many animals rest in dense shade during the hottest part of the day.
