Day 1: Arrival & Skukuza Luxury Stay
You will be collected from Johannesburg (OR Tambo) or Mbombela (Nelspruit) for a comfortable transfer toward Kruger National Park.
Arrive and check into your premium accommodation near Skukuza Rest Camp, the park’s largest and most centrally located camp. Enjoy lunch (own expense) at a camp restaurant or hotel facility.
Depart for your first dedicated game drive in an open safari vehicle. The surrounding area is known for high concentrations of animals due to the Sabie and N’watimhiri Rivers.
Return to your accommodation. Relax and enjoy a gourmet included dinner on site, followed by time to enjoy the luxurious bar or grounds.
Day 2: Full Day of Central Kruger Big 5 Tracking
An early start is key to catch predators. Your expert guide will focus on tracking the Big 5 in the central Kruger area, which offers diverse habitats.
Return to your premium accommodation for a delicious included breakfast. Spend the mid-day heat relaxing by the pool, enjoying the river views, or exploring Skukuza’s amenities. Lunch is available for purchase.
Head out for the dedicated late afternoon drive. Focus on waterholes and river crossings where various species gather before sunset.
Return to your accommodation for your included dinner and enjoy the luxurious comforts for the evening.
Day 3: Exploration & Unparalleled Comfort
Depart for another sunrise drive, exploring a different loop to maximize variety in sightings and ecosystems. Stop for an included breakfast during the drive.
Return to the camp area for extensive downtime. You have the option to visit Skukuza’s museum or enjoy the hotel’s amenities. Lunch is available for purchase.
Your final dedicated afternoon drive. Guides will work hard to secure sightings of any elusive animals still missing from your list, particularly Leopard and Rhino.
Enjoy your final, specially prepared included dinner, reflecting on your privileged and comfortable 4-day safari.
Day 4: Final Safari & Departure
Embark on one last early morning game drive to savor the bushveld one final time.
Return to the accommodation for your final included breakfast. Check out and prepare for departure.
Board your comfortable transfer vehicle for the return journey.
Arrive back at your original drop-off point in Johannesburg or Mbombela (typically between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM), concluding your Luxury Skukuza Kruger Safari.
