Your Nhongo Safaris guide collects you directly from your accommodation in the Hazyview area. Board the open safari vehicle and receive a quick briefing on the day ahead.

We head straight to the park gate (e.g., Phabeni or Numbi). Your guide handles the entrance process, ensuring you are ready to start the Game Drive immediately at official opening time.

We focus on water sources and areas known for predator activity as the park wakes up. Target species include the Big Five and nocturnal animals retreating for the day.

We stop at a central Kruger rest camp (e.g., Skukuza or Lower Sabie) for a much-needed break. You have time to purchase breakfast or a quick snack and stretch your legs safely.

The safari continues, often moving to different biomes to maximize biodiversity. Your guide uses expert tracking skills to find animals hiding from the midday heat, sharing fascinating ecological and behavioral insights along the way.

A longer stop at a major rest camp. Enjoy purchasing lunch and a cool drink, or simply relax and observe the animals and birdlife around the camp perimeter.

The final push of your Full-Day Game Drive. We explore the final designated zone, taking advantage of the shifting animal locations as the temperature begins to drop slightly. This time offers a great chance to see large herds moving or the elusive leopard.

At 4pm we start making our way out of the park, ensuring we reach the gate and exit on time.

You are dropped off safely and seamlessly back at your Hazyview accommodation, concluding your comprehensive Kruger National Park day trip.

Forget the stress, we provide complimentary collection directly from your Hazyview accommodation, ensuring a smooth and easy start to your day.

Our purpose-designed open safari vehicle provides a superior, elevated position, giving you the best possible vantage point over Kruger’s stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. You’ll be able to fully absorb the sights, sounds, and smells of the African wilderness, enhancing your chances of an unforgettable Kruger Park safari.

"Two Leopards In One Day"

"We did a full day trip with Nhongo Safaris and were lucky enough to get Amanda as our guide — even on her day off! Her passion for the company, the animals and Kruger was exceptional. She was knowledgeable, refreshingly honest and had a terrific sense of humour. We saw plenty of elephants, two leopards on two different occasions, buffalo, giraffe and many antelope. The quiet routes she took us on were a great reprieve from the busy main roads. We will definitely use Nhongo again."

"30 Elephants Before Breakfast"

"Not sure we could have asked for a better experience or guide for our full day safari. Our guide Clint set expectations from the start but said we would try our best for the Big 5. From the beginning we saw upwards of 30 elephants in 7 different locations including a tiny baby — one of the most amazing experiences of our lives! Clint's knowledge of animal habits, lifestyle and behaviour made the whole day feel like a masterclass. An outstanding day from start to finish."

"Robbie Is Extremely Knowledgeable & Funny"

"We had a group of 6 friends and booked two private full day tours with Nhongo Safaris. Verity did a great job arranging everything and it ran smoothly from start to finish. Robbie is an extremely knowledgeable and funny guide with a wealth of bush experience. He drove us through the park explaining the habits, lifestyle and behaviour of every animal we came across. An incredible day out — we saw lions, elephants, giraffe and so much more. Could not recommend Nhongo highly enough."
