Arrive at your camp and check into your private chalet. Enjoy a relaxed, included dinner at the camp restaurant.
Day 2: Full Day of Tracking & Night Safari
Depart before dawn for an extensive drive, focusing on river systems and known areas for predator activity (Lion and Leopard).
Return to camp for an included breakfast. You’ll have leisure time to relax, swim, or siesta during the warmest part of the day. Purchase lunch at the camp (own expense).
Head out for the mid-afternoon drive, focusing on the movement of large animals and herds (like Buffalo and Elephant) as they gather near water sources.
After a quick break, embark on a thrilling guided Night Safari. Using powerful lights, your guide will seek out nocturnal creatures, including the elusive Leopard, Hyenas, and Bush Babies.
Return to your chalet for a well-deserved rest.
Day 3: Camp Transfer & New Territory
Depart early with your luggage on a final morning drive of this camp’s area. This allows you to track and sight wildlife while moving towards the gate for your transfer.
Travel to your second designated camp in the Southern Kruger area. This movement ensures you explore different habitats and tracking opportunities.
Arrive and check into your new private chalet. After settling in, head out for a dedicated late afternoon drive to explore this new section of the park.
Enjoy your included dinner at the camp restaurant, followed by a relaxed evening enjoying the new camp’s atmosphere.
Day 4: Deep Exploration and Birding
Another crucial early morning drive, targeting high-value sightings like Rhino and focusing on the varied landscapes in this specific park area. Birding opportunities are excellent in the morning.
Return to camp for an included breakfast. Enjoy extensive downtime to relax, explore the camp’s facilities, or visit the interpretive center. Purchase lunch (own expense).
Your second-to-last dedicated drive. The guide will cover less-traveled roads, often finding unique animal interactions and focusing on achieving the Big 5 checklist.
Enjoy your final included dinner in the park, reflecting on your comprehensive adventure.
Day 5: Final Encounter & Departure
The last guided game drive of the tour. This drive is a final chance to spot any remaining species and enjoy the tranquility of the bushveld at its most beautiful time.
Return to camp for your final included breakfast. You will then pack up and check out of your accommodation.
Exit the park and board your transfer vehicle for the return journey.
Arrive back at your original drop-off point in Johannesburg or Pretoria (typically by 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM), concluding your 5-Day African Kruger Safari.
Enjoy authentic, cozy lodging right inside Kruger National Park! Your stay includes comfortable private huts (chalets), offering a restful retreat in the heart of the wilderness.
Each hut is well-appointed for a pleasant experience, featuring twin beds, a private en-suite bathroom, and air-conditioning. Your accommodation is cleaned and serviced daily, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay while you fully immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the African bush.

"In A League Of Its Own"
"We've been on safari before, but this 5 Day African Kruger Safari was in a league of its own. Staying at Pretoriuskop, Letaba and Skukuza gave us completely different ecosystems. Guide Gift was the heart of the experience — he tracked a pride of lions one morning and followed bird calls that led us straight to a leopard. Every drive felt like a well-guided story through the bush."
"Taken Care Of From Start To Finish"
"I recently came back from a 4 night 5 day safari with Nhongo Safaris and had such an amazing time. The team were incredibly responsive from the first moment I contacted them and made every effort to make sure everything was perfect. Our guide Robbie was outstanding — knowledgeable, passionate and always going the extra mile. The Big 5 ticked off and memories for life!"
"Rich & Treasured Lifelong Memories"
"We saw the Big 5 and so much more — the 100% dedication of our guide Robbie was extraordinary. His constant communication with other guides to share live sightings made all the difference. Staying at three different camps across five days gave us an incredible range of habitats and encounters. This trip has left us with rich, treasured lifelong memories.
